Welcome to SFA’s STREAM Garden! Our vision for this garden imparts using it as a living and breathing classroom for the students to apply all subjects/lessons. Students will learn true, real world applications of math, taking care of God’s creation, technology, and more – all with the help of the sustainable garden. Students will absorb lessons related to all aspects of life/gardening down to the soil composition, the insects needed for a successful growth, the cooking involved due to our successes etc. Students will learn the full circle and concept of farm to table eating with the help of this garden. This garden will be an immeasurable tool that will enable SFA to achieve a genuine STREAM learning environment.
Special thanks to PLACE Corps (LMU) for their help in realizing our garden and Nick Osti for his creativity and talents with the amazing mural.
